Antimony Refiners Australia

Australia's first onshore antimony refinery.

Victoria, Australia  ·  Pilot production 2027

What we do

ARA is building Australia's first onshore antimony refinery.

The process refines antimony without smelting. No air emissions, no tailings dam. It handles the high arsenic and low grade material that conventional smelters reject, and it is independently validated on Australian concentrate.

Why it matters

The renewable energy transition and the AI build of the next decade depend on critical minerals. Antimony is a structural input to semiconductors, batteries, energy storage, defence and clean energy infrastructure, and it has no viable substitute.

Around 90 percent of global supply is refined in China and Russia controlled areas. Australia holds some of the world's largest reserves and refines almost none of it onshore.

ARA is building that capability here, so the industries Australia's future depends on have a supply they can count on.
